Weather advise from anyone in the know please!

Okay, I've just spoken to Pete again at 6.30pm tonight (Friday) and they have just been through a storm. He asked me to check for weather conditions in Bundaberg and while it does say 30km/hr winds by 3pm tomorrow there are no weather warnings - it all looks to be furhter south on the NSW coast where it says damaging winds but doesn't look like it will get up as far as Bundaberg...

A little reassurance from anyone more knowledgable on wind conditions (wouldn't be too hard) would be greatly appreciated!! Should I have told them to head North or will they be fine??
