Boys headed off around 3pm

And so the next adventure begins! Pete, Pete, Dom, Ferg and Ned pulled away from Jetty D, Raymond Island just before 3pm Monday 12th December, 2016. Gorgeously sunny and warm day but no wind. They motored all the way to Lakes and headed out through The Entrance without any dramas, as planned, around 5pm on a full tide, just starting to head out to sea.

I've just spoken to Pete now at midnight and they are pretty much half way to Eden, just south of Tamboon. Beautiful full moon but a little cloudy and still no wind so happily motoring along. Hmmmm, just got a text from Pete to see if I can find any info on why the Point Hicks Lighthouse isn't working. Last update I can find anywhere is 2009... oh well, thank goodness for technology so they know exactly where they are!
